Veteran Comic Con 2024  Nov 10 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Cartoon Art Museum, 781 Beach St, tickets $10. Browse displays, speak directly with veteran artists, and purchase their art! Cosplay contest.

  Lunar New Year Love Story with Gene Yang meet the authors at SF main library. Sat, Nov 16, 2024 , 2:00pm-4:00pm. Free, meet gene Yang award winning comic book and graphic novel writer and Uyen Pham. This will be a great event. The creators will discuss their book and attendees will get a free copy of the book while supplies last  Afterward there is a q&a with the creators , drawing demonstration, and book signing. I have had Gene sign books before and he is very gracious. It’s possible he will sign other books like Superman, Avatar the last Airbender or American Born Chinese and dragon Hoops ( which is a great graphic novel on Bishop O Dowds basketball team) unless lines are too long.
